You don’t need friends or crew for these 9 races. You get to battle the elements and sail a range of courses in the Gulf, including long-distance and multi-day weekend events. The series is open to solo sailors of any skill level with extras and no-extras divisions.

Richmond Yacht Club prides itself on being the home of single-handed sailing. We continue to partner with Devonport Yacht Club to offer competitors a range of challenging courses. At a series level, the Night Race to Mahurangi will offer competitors those more challenging options whilst the Sir Peter Blake Memorial Race will provide the opportunity to race to a destination and to enjoy the company of other competitors at our renowned beach barbecues.
For those looking for a extra challenge, check out the Gulf Triangle Singlehanded Challenge – 3 Legs, 2 Layovers, One Sailor.
